What we put in our bodies shouldn’t be a leap of faith. We believe living a healthy life means eating high quality and safe nutritious food, knowing where it comes from and exactly how it’s made.
That philosophy has guided Wilderness Family Naturals from the beginning. Our founders moved their family to the pristine wilderness of northern Minnesota in search of a better life. They studied organic food and nutrition. They built relationships with growers and suppliers who shared their values. With little more than a cell phone, an internet connection, small production room and passionate belief in their cause, their solar powered home in the North Woods became an independent source for the highest-quality organic and natural foods, building blocks for a healthy life.
We’ve been helping people eat for themselves ever since. We built a company we would be proud to support. 16 years later, people around the world have made us part of their healthy journey. And we still believe in the power of organic and natural food: to sustain our health, to give us joy, and to nourish our families and communities.

Our Product Certifications and Quality Standards
USDA Certified OrganicOrganic products sold by Wilderness Family Naturals are either certified by the USDA’s National Organic Program or guaranteed by our suppliers to not be grown using any pesticides, herbicides and chemicals. Organic certifications and quality inspections, at our partners’ plants and in our own facilities, are renewed annually. Look for the Certified Organic seal.
Non-GMOEvery Certified Organic product we sell is also non-GMO as a condition of organic certification. Look for the USDA Certified Organic seal as well as the non-GMO Verified seal for products that contain NO genetically modified organisms.
KosherWilderness Family Naturals sells hundreds of foods, herbs and ingredients that are certified Kosher by our partner Earth Kosher. Look for the Kosher seal to know which of our products meet this standard.
RawRaw foods are those not cooked, pasteurized or processed using high heat. Wilderness Family Naturals strives to offer raw foods that are both delicious, shelf stable and meet our customers’ dietary guidelines. While there is no common standard for “raw” food, we designate products that are processed at temperatures under 118°F as raw. Look for the Raw Food seal.
VeganVegan foods do not contain any animal products or animal-product derivatives whatsoever, including dairy, eggs, meat, fish or shellfish. Look for products with the “Vegan Verified” seal.
Gluten FreeWilderness Family Naturals offers several products that are certified Gluten Free for customers who are gluten intolerant or avoid gluten for other reasons. Those products include Certified Gluten Free Organic Flour Blend, Certified Gluten Free Organic Coconut Flour, Certified Gluten Free Organic Almond Flour, and Certified Gluten Free Organic Tapioca Flour. Look for the Certified ICS Gluten-Free seal.
